Bayer Announces Collaboration with Woodstream
Two industry leaders collaborate for best in class,
innovative tools for digital rodent monitoring.
CARY, N.C. (October 12, 2020) – The Pest Management and Public Health business of Bayer, part of the company’s Environmental Science business unit, announced a collaboration with Woodstream to enable Woodstream’s Victor® VLINK™ rodent traps to function with the Bayer Rodent Monitoring System platform. Pest management professionals can look forward to a broader choice of best in class rodent monitoring devices in Q1 2021.
“This is an important advance in electronic monitoring for pests,” said Peter Jardine, Head of Marketing & Strategy for the Bayer Digital Pest Management team. “Collaborating with other strong forces in electronic monitoring allows for the development of premium innovations within our technology ecosystem and Woodstream’s – ensuring PMPs are getting top level products. VLINK™ will greatly complement what the Bayer Rodent Monitoring System can do for PMPs.”
The Bayer Rodent Monitoring System allows for sensors to be retrofitted on multi-catch traps, snap traps and bait stations to offer service providers the flexibility to use existing multi-catch, snap traps and bait stations. VLINK™ offers an all-in-one sensor and tunnel trap design for mice and rats. When combined, the two technologies can offer PMPs the best of both worlds.
“Victor™ has been the leader in the trap market for over 100 years, continuing to innovate and deliver best-in-class rodent control solutions to the market. Relying on our rich history of world class engineering and a deep understanding of the unique needs of PMPs, we developed VLINK™, a cutting edge remote notification system that offers effective, versatile, and dependable control.” said Ashley Brown, Sr. Director for Commercial Pest Control at Woodstream.
Bayer and Woodstream are committed to providing leading innovation in the industry – making certain that PMPs not only get the job at hand done well, but can also put the necessary time into fostering business growth and customer satisfaction. With digital rodent monitoring systems, PMPs can spend less time checking empty traps and more time focusing on deeper IPM inspection, delivering a more proactive, higher value service to their customers.
